Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Romanticize Collective LLC, Los Angeles, California ("Romanticize Collective," "we," "us"). They cover your use of romanticizecollective.com and anything you buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies they reference: our Subscription Terms & Automatic Renewal Disclosure, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to buy from us. Please give us accurate account, billing and shipping information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

2. Memberships and automatic renewal

Single Experience and Signature memberships renew automatically, and we charge your payment method on the 20th of each month until you cancel. The 6- and 12-month Signature plans are commitments billed monthly that continue month to month after the commitment ends. Prices, commitment terms, and how to pause and cancel online are explained in our Subscription Terms & Automatic Renewal Disclosure, which is part of these Terms. Best of Box, $25 experiences and eGift Cards are one-time purchases; they do not renew.

3. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay.
We may decline, limit or cancel an order, for example for suspected fraud, a pricing or inventory error, or an address we can't ship to. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.
We may change prices and products going forward. Price changes to an active membership follow the notice rules in our Subscription Terms.
Shop Pay Installments: where offered, Shop Pay Installments is available only on eligible one-time purchases (such as Best of Box or eGift Cards), never on memberships. Installment plans are provided by Affirm, Inc. and its lending partners and are subject to their terms, eligibility checks and privacy policies, which you'll see before you confirm. We don't control installment approval, rates or payment schedules.

4. Promotions and discount codes

Offers and codes are subject to the terms shown with them. Unless the offer says otherwise, they're limited to one per customer, can't be combined, have no cash value and may end at any time. Introductory membership pricing will say at checkout how long it lasts and what you'll pay afterward.

5. Shipping, returns and The Good Time Guarantee

We ship within the United States. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers your order. Shipping is covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Our Returns & Refunds Policy covers The Good Time Guarantee (one free swap per member for memberships, or one free swap per customer for one-time purchases within 30 days of delivery), help with damaged, incorrect or missing items (report within 14 days) and refunds.

6. eGift Cards

eGift Cards are delivered by email to the recipient you choose, have no expiration date, and can be used toward purchases on romanticizecollective.com. They're non-refundable and can't be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires. For example, California residents can redeem a balance under $10 for cash on request. Please keep your eGift Card code safe. We can't replace a code that someone else has used.

7. Experiences, products and safety

Our experiences are for personal, recreational enjoyment. Contents vary by month, and photos and past experiences are examples, not promises of a specific future experience. Some experiences may include food, beverages, candles, fragrances or other materials. Please read ingredient lists, labels and instructions, supervise any open flame, and decide whether an activity is right for you, especially if you have allergies or health conditions. Nothing we provide is medical, therapeutic, legal or professional advice.

8. Text message program

If you opt in, Romanticize Collective will send recurring marketing and informational text messages (such as offers, cart reminders and order updates) to the mobile number you give us. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help, or email hello@romanticizecollective.com. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We don't sell or share your mobile number or text consent with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

Our site, experience concepts, written guides, graphics, photos, videos, logos and other content belong to Romanticize Collective or our licensors. You may use them for your personal enjoyment of the experiences you buy. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or use them commercially without our written permission.

10. Reviews and content you share

When you submit a review, photo or other content, you confirm it's yours to share and accurate to your experience. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use it in connection with our business as described when you submit it. We may remove content that's unlawful, misleading, infringing or abusive. We don't pay for or edit reviews to change their meaning.

11. Acceptable use

Please don't use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent. Don't interfere with its security or operation, scrape or copy it in bulk, or buy products for unauthorized resale.

12. Third-party services

Our store uses third-party services such as Shopify, Seal Subscriptions, payment and installment providers and shipping carriers. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to the services they provide.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and products are provided "as is," and Romanticize Collective isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that can't be limited under applicable law, including your rights under California consumer protection law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover claims against us that arise from your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms or someone else's rights.

15. Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, please email us first. Most issues can be solved quickly. These Terms are governed by California law. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law of your home state gives you the right to bring it where you live. Either of us may use small-claims court for eligible claims.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the current version. Changes don't apply retroactively to orders already placed. Material changes to an active membership will come with any notice the law requires.
