Everywhere I looked, I saw the same thing: lives that were full, yet missing the spark that makes life feel alive. I felt it too.

I wanted to create something that added more joy in the world.

After a decade scaling tech startups, I knew what it meant to stay busy, to build big things, to keep achieving. But even in the middle of all that, I realized success wasn't the same as joy. And when I talked with others, I realized I wasn't alone.

There is so much that pushes us to do more, go faster, and chase what’s next, and so little that reminds us to slow down, to pause, to notice what’s already here. The world is craving more joy. But somewhere along the way, we forgot where to find it.

That is why I created Romanticize Collective, not another box of stuff but an intentional ritual. A pause. A spark. A reminder that joy isn’t lost. It just needs space to be seen.

And it can be whimsical too, bringing back that childhood feeling of having a small surprise to look forward to. The kind of simple joy we forget to make space for as adults.
